The SMMC-33 is one of the leading specialized organizations in the Southern region of Ukraine that has over 40 years of expertise in the electric energy facilities construction.

Our organization has unique experience in the construction of high voltage transmission lines (various capacities), assembly of stations and transformer substations, cable works etc. We deliver a full range of services, from project development and cost assessment to the optimization of efficiency of the existing solutions.

Our specialists have years of experience in working with our company and are often hired as technical consultants during the assembly, modernization and reconstruction of electric energy facilities by other organizations.

Notable dates in the history of the company:
  • The UkrSpecVodMontage SMU (Construction and Assembly Department) opened in Kherson (Ukraine) on January 11th , 1963
  • The SMU-1 renamed into SMU-33 on February 26th, 1964
  • The SMU-33 renamed into the Specialized Moving Mechanized Column-33 of the UkrSpecVodMontage Department on August 11th, 1966
  • The SMMC-33 of the UkrSpecVodMontage Department reorganized into the leasing section “SMMC-33” of the UkrSpecVodMontage Company on October 3rd, 1990
  • The leasing section “SMMC-33” of the UkrSpecVodMontage Company reorganized into the Open joint-stock company “Specialized Moving Mechanized Column-33” on June 10th, 1996.
